Dr. Lyne Desautels has been a family physician for over 25 years and practices mainly on the South Shore of Montreal as well as in the Eastern Townships. She founded the “Centre de médecine intégrative et évolutive (“CMIE”)” in 2012, which now has 5 private medical clinics in Brossard, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Granby, Magog, Laval, Québec and Val-David.

The functional medicine approach, her previous background in microbiology and graduate studies in cancer research (molecular genetics) allowed her to develop a practice based on the principles of LIVING LAB (clinical research based on documented and clinically applied observation).

She advocates global health and integrative medicine approaches thus working in collaboration with various healthcare professionals, in order to personalize her treatment plans and meet the needs of her patients. This approach allowed her to develop expertise in the fields of bio-identical hormone therapy, longevity and precision medicine, medical cannabis and Lyme disease.

Education is very important to Dr. Desautels. She participates in the writing of several articles on various health topics. A well-known speaker, her favourite subjects are hormone therapy and medical cannabis, as well as all aspects of preventive medicine.
